Supermachine Studio

As of today, early 2019, when Bangkok is cover with dust from pollution, we would like to share our projected image of Dindaeng intersection, a famous Bangkok area where super highway from the north entering the city. We have recently re-create series of images in retrospect to our future city project 10 years ago. Back then, we imagine our city, Bangkok, as an automobile steroid mega city where mass transit system failed terribly because of chronic corruption. Multi-layered highways are built over other to serve “CARS” but still fail to solve serious traffic problems.

Sadly enough, what we pessimistically pictured was not very different from what happening in our city right now. Bangkok has been facing smog situation from higher in standard PM2.5 for a few years now specially in January-February when air is dry and still. People and medias are just aware of the problem now when the problem has reached horrendous level. Seeing big country like China tackling it in a serious manner, Bangkokian has to realise that only awareness is not enough, there need to be substantial measure by everyone living in this mega city to make situation better. Otherwise the reality of our city can look worse than the image that Supermachine studio produces.
